Diary of a sad black woman

This is me, this is she who
like a love stricken teen shattered by a dream
Stomach churning while the heart is still yearning for love
Head spinning while the eyes see you
A Man walking away
While I shrink into a little girl lostÂ
hoping and praying you'd stay
The happiness rotsÂ
The grown woman suffers
Mentally distant
While traces of self lingers
A seesaw DepressionÂ
Gives me less hope
and growth
seems unlikely
A lifeless bodyÂ
"God, help me !"Â
Afer I am done with prayingÂ
Cradling in the cold dark, a twinklingÂ
light defeats my fading eyes
A crown bursting with pride, kept singingÂ
A voice within, made me cry
And told me to never let your soul die
