DIDN'T SAY GOODBYE

I never had the chance to say goodbye 
No time to mourn no time to cry
One day the tears will fall down my cheek
My resolve and facade would then be weak

I will continue however to be brave and strong 
Pretending to the outside world that nothing is wrong 
Going about my days with a smile on my face 
All the time grateful I belong to the human race 

When it's my turn to go like you did before
There will be no tears or sadness for this I'm sure
