Dim room

I am the darkness 
my hand smolders over the flame of the candle. 
I am the shadow 
and I dance on the walls to the flicker of the beat. 
I fill the space light cannot 
I need the light 
depend on it 
feed off it 
but I could never shine 
the way you want me.
