Ding dong bell 🛎
He steps one by one each stone step on his uphill climb
Listening to the forever familiar tick tock of that rhythmical rhyme
This ancient old church clock has stood there forever throughout the test of time
Striking out with the same musical melody on each and every quarterly chime..
At precisely twelve o’clock noon he would grab ahold of his long thick rope
And he had always been this chapel campanologist bringing regularity with hope
Coz when those bells rang out echoing right across the valley gone was any melancholy mope
One and all just got on with their mundane lives amidst an understanding of a capable cope..
Throughout those long golden hours these ringing, blinging bells were always heard
And everybody appreciated listening to them without saying a single word
Infact the very thought of never hearing these ding dongs daily would be absolutely absurd
This was a timely regularity just like that old farmyard cockerel crowing bird...
