Ding dong bell 🛎

He steps one by one each stone step on his uphill climb

Listening to the forever familiar tick tock of that rhythmical rhyme

This ancient old church clock has stood there forever throughout the test of time

Striking out with the same musical melody on each and every quarterly chime..

At precisely twelve o’clock noon he would grab ahold of his long thick rope

And he had always been this chapel campanologist bringing regularity with hope

Coz when those bells rang out echoing right across the valley gone was any melancholy mope 

One and all just got on with their mundane lives amidst an understanding of a capable cope..

Throughout those long golden hours these ringing, blinging bells were always heard

And everybody appreciated listening to them without saying a single word

Infact the very thought of never hearing these ding dongs daily would be absolutely absurd

This was a timely regularity just like that old farmyard cockerel crowing bird...
