Dingy inky land ??

Dingy inky land ??

If you are feeling brave & not afraid of the dark
Then may I recommend you visit
‘Dingy inky land’
You will find it in you local park

There will be no lights at all
So will be as black as coal
You will probably be the only one
Won’t see a single soul

Mind you be very careful
Don’t bump into trees or fences
You will need all your wits about you
So have to use all of your senses

When you arrive there you will know
There will be strange noises to be heard
Just have yourself a seat on the grass
& Do not attempt to say a word

If you wern’t scared before
You certainly will be now
Owls & foxes with eerie screeches
Dense forest trees will bend & bough

Creaking & a-groaning in the middle of the night
Is guaranteed to get the fearless of folk
In a state of fright

If you are extra vigillant
There could be bright eyes too
Wild animals curiously hunting you out,
Staring at you

Although they probably won’t harm you
You will feel petrified
Its the ‘Not knowing’ whats there
& You have no place to hide

If you have taken my advice
You have found this place as
Sombre as hell
Then ‘Wow’ you deserve a medal
& What tall story’ tales you have to tell
