Poem -

Dirgeful Tone.

I play the blues on my old guitar.
As i sit drinking in a seedy downtown bar.
Around me loners drink and cry.
Even the bartender looks like he wants to die.
I sing about life and death.
All around me lung hurting air from the lonely drinkers stale alcohol breath.
The downtown bar is dimly lit.
Lonely drinkers alone they sit.
My voice does sing in a dirgeful tone.
In a bar full of people that are all alone.
Outside dark rain does fall.
Inside dark souls for help they call.
I finish playing and take a long hard drink.
And into depression like the rest i sink.
