Disaster Zone

I adore my mum
So I really shouldn't be writing this
But I need to vent
Yes I need to vent!
I just wish...
I just wish she could keep it together
Until I can get it together
Here I am in a sinking hot air balloon filled with our accumulations
Things eternal, things still needed and basket-loads of redundancies
But they're all tied in knotted wool that hides razor blades
And I don't know when I'm gunna get gashed next
Death Cert for my stepdad that OD'd
Cards from friends that didn't last the distance
Pics of better days trigger gloomy reminiscence
Documents of two failed marriages
Transcripts of failed college subjects
Medical records of mental ill health
Birth Cert of my son that was stolen away
Resignation acceptance letters from jobs I couldn't keep
Buisness endeavours that had to fold
Evidence I too am getting old
And it takes hours and it zaps my soul
And I have a life to live as well
The house inspection's in an hour
And God! I haven't had a shower
In the last three days?
I've lost count
I'm heading towards a rocky mount
Yikes! I feel there's no way out
And that is why I shout
And that is why I shout

Respect here, so much you have gone through and such bravery to post. From one poet to another, awesome and powerful work!
Thanks. And sorry I haven't gotten back to you about that other stuff yet ey.
No problem, or worry, just let me know if you hear/find anything!
