Disbeliever

Disbeliever

I saw a bird today
Glancing out my window
It moved so fast
I think I need a replay

At night I turn around
Looking for what created that sound
Now although I don't believe
But I swear I just saw a shadow
And I can't let this go

Sitting on a table
This is no fable
I just feel unstable
Unable to describe what I just saw

It's scary, the unknown
Unearthly things
That moan in the night
I don't believe what I am shown

Is this a sign
From above
Communicating this captivating yet nauseating
Truth?

Destiny, fate, karma
Deep down I don't believe
So I put on my armour
I am a disbeliever
