Disconnected

Step back a little,
And look at yourself,
What you won't inertly see,
A place with a spot,
In your mind,
Denying your ability to really be.
To sense,
A world of true beauty,
Without the forbidden noticing,
Of the simplest little things,
That help it to run more smoothly.
Minds are closed,
As are the unseeing eyes.
Crippling are open eagerness,
To explore the different,
And understand there's more,
To life beyond the lies.
What limits the mind,
Is only ourselves,
Down the line,
Aging in time,
In hopes men's knowledge,
One day excels.
To better beings,
Filled with light,
The earth a constant,
Rotating sphere of energy,
Ready to ignite.
Blowing up,
The barriers,
Blocking full potential,
Remove the spot,
My capabilities should not,
Be confidential.
This poem
Inspired by
In my opinion
A great movie
Powder.
