Poem -

Disdain

My souls consumed with burning passion

Seeking to kiss your beautiful face

Your expression of disgust thwarts my love

Retreating in doubt I clean the dishes

Days go by unfulfilled

My body yearns for your gentle touch

Tried to embrace your perfect body

You turn away destroying intentions

Defeated with shame I wash the laundry

Weeks go by neglected

My spirits desperate to feel your warmth

Reaching out for your eloquent hand

You pull away shattering my heart

Engulfed with fear I prepare dinner

Months go by ignored

Time you are relentless

Wont you slow and let us mend

Surely there's still something left

Please stop for us once more

so sad stephen when a marriage breaks down.  My sympathies go out to you ,time is loves dealer but can also be a healer if realization of nothing going to happen can be taken on board, to move on. Best wishes..
