DISOLATE HEART

DISOLATE HEART
Like any man
I yearn for love
but you see my heart
desolate and lonely
surrounded by a thick wall
a deadly wall.
Like any man
I adore summer
and enjoy the sunshine.
When the birds sing
I feel nostalgic.
But you see my heart
desolate and lonely
like a cold winter's night.
