Poem -

That Distant Dream

'There is a dream' worried and anxious,
I tell my mother, she is suspicious
I tell her how I want to separate,
An unwanted decision, leaving my best mate

The idea is to conquire something,
In the quest that life next bring
My mother says, 'Go ! Live your dream',
With a saint smile, though sadness her eyes beamed

'I'll write to you everyday', I promise,
Smiling for long with a sobbing goodbye kiss
I hold her tight to express my apology,
To leave her like that, for the awaiting glory

But I have to go, make her proud,
Though alone in the world that I had found
In her faith, I'll strive everytime to win ,
Far away, she'll remember with a grin

Maybe one day I'll come back,
To tell her stories and jokes they cracked
Like a true warrior, you'll know me better,
I'll still be your little daughter amongst the glitter
