DISTURBING THE SILENCE

DISTURBING THE SILENCE

Disturbing the silence on a summer's day
Is wrong on all levels that's what I say
I looked all around for that perfect spot
A place which would be cool and not too hot

Under that tree and away from the hustle and bustle
The only sound were the leaves that started to rustle
I got out my pen and paper and started to write
Hoping that a new poem would come to light

I was lucky enough to come up with this inspiration
My silence was disturbed did not break my concentration
I will pack up my pen and paper and find a new place
Away from the noise and busyness of the human race
