Divinous divide

A want, a need, an impetus
An insatiable baseless sexless lust
A need to believe existence cannot be sans just cause.
The continuity from first to last
The discrepancy between reach and grasp
To conceive of higher station,
boundless imagination so vast.
So vast.
When even in this fall from grace
One perceives light from outer space
Suggest that it in the end of days
Trajectory can cut both ways.
