Then we got older
Do you remember those high school days?
I can see her now beautiful and innocent.
I was in love with her I mean love.
Where her innocence
shone about her golden hair
like a angels halo,
that kind of love.
It only is for the very young heart
the heart that has no limits or
preconceived ideas
on sex and commitment.
It only knows how
to love with tenderness.
I want to feel that again.
But it only happens once.

How beautiful her smile was..
How stunning you found her.
That time of golden days
where you could not get enough of her.
Not as a mother of your children
of dedicated wife to you.
But as the great
beautiful women she is.
I want to feel that again

the first time you saw your child.
it was just born only minutes old.
The feelings of the meaning of life
bursting all over your heart.
Tears forming for no reason
in your mans eyes.
I want to feel that again.

But these moments are only
way-stations on our journey.
But we have a time machine
built into every person on earth.
It can travel back in time.
And these way-stations
are all still there.
