Doctor’s Orders :)

Doctor’s Orders :)

So I’m sat with my broken foot
elevated on a chair
The boredoms driving me crazy
I’m almost pulling out my hair

There’s nothing to amuse me
I have Doctor’s orders to rest
Okay I will heed his advice
I am trying my best

He said “Jill you need to take it easy
Stop rushing around & slow down”
“You aren’t allowed to drive”
I looked at him with a frown

“Keep this moonboot on with your leg raised,
take some pills for the pain
In a couple of months you will be right as rain”

You see I’m always on the go
That’s just the way that I cope
I prefer to keep myself busy
Tho it won’t be for long I hope

There will be alot of writing dittys
I can do that whilst I sit
Trouble is I’ve put some weight on
I feel sluggish & unfit

Woe is me aint life a challenge
It can knock you off the track
Throwing you unexpected accidents
Knocking you down on your back

But never-the-less we get up again
Pick ourselves off the floor
We may have broken bones & bruises
Yes these ailments will be sore

Time is a great healer
There’s always worse off than you
So always look on the brightside
& be careful what you do
