Doing it on my own

Stuck in this haze
Wondering what's best
It's like an endless maze
This is such a mess

My baby is my pride and joy
How can she not be yours
She isn't some game or toy
Having a baby isn't a chore

I'm not going to beg or plead
I can do this on my own
I give her all she wants and needs
And I love how much she's grown

Your the one missing out
But that's on you not me
I don't have the energy to fight or shout
So I will be the best mum AND dad I can be.
