Dayna Dee

Dayna Dee

Dayna Dee, oh Dayna Dee I saw your cat run up a tree..

First I saw him in the house, I thought he chase a little mouse..

Fast he was, and fast was I, but could not catch him, hard I try..

Up tree he go, and there to stay, can't bring him down in any way..

A doggie chase, he was no match, your little cat he could not catch..

I chase the dog, say go away, and don't come back another day..

What can I do, it's suppertime , for I'm to old, up tree to climb..

What food he like, what food he wish, we put it in his pretty dish..

Now down he come, we do not fear, we did not shed a single tear..

We love our cat, someway, somehow..

And now he thanks us, with Meow..
