Don’t dilly dally on the way 😱
If you are out walking all alone do not dilly dally
There could be a stalker lurking in that dark alley
It is always better to be safe not sorry
Never find yourself in a situation to cause unnecessary worry..

When I wander off the beaten track
I am constantly turning around behind my back
Wondering if there is a stranger that is waiting to attack
Especially if I am on a lonely countryside track..

Why on earth do I put myself in harms way
I am often caught out in the dark at the end of a day
Feeling a little afraid I really have to say
And luckily I have always made it home as I thank the Lord and pray...

Hi JILL!!......while agree with the intent of this well delivered write......I can't say that the whole of it is something I live by....depending upon where I am in the world.....i still find myself happy to be completely trusting of my surroundings......I just refuse to let this world take away the pleasure I derive from taking a nice long stroll on a pleasant evening......or a walk through the park......it just depends on where I am and what my intuition is or isn't telling me......does that make any sense?......I hope so.....ALL STARS!!......this is SUCH interesting subject matter that I bet a VERY long, and quite compelling, discussion could be beneficial!!......well done my friend!!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!.......T xo : )

Hang in there Jill and any discomfort or unease that arises after dark is never good for you or any woman for that matter, regarding current events and that tragic woman Sarah Everard and its shameful aftermath.
Well done for drawing all our attention to your concerns and God knows how many more other women's plight.
We need more bobbies on the beat and that's just the start, for you hardly see any walking down the street anymore, as they used to years ago.
To give at least a little comfort and reassurance to the community and all its people's their paid to respect and protect.
