Don't feel so cold...

**This is dedicated to Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington, absolutely, undoubtedly musical legends in their own right ??**
A stage,
We are embraced,
Trials and tribulations,
Lost love and complications,
They got so far,
And lost it all,
Depression,
Confession,
Caught in the abyss,
Trapped,
In a black hole sun,
A never ending, forever unknown,
A darkness, parallel with the holy ghost,
Consumed with this friendship,
A weight, of an endless suffering,
I remember your voice,
The undeniable control,
The attachment to my soul,
The people in your palm,
To cause love, not harm,
They waited in a room of emptiness,
Suicide was their only escape,
Like a stone,
No more life,
Feeling so numb,
Breaking the habit
For one more light,
They felt warmth, in the passing away,
So they fall,
To another, musical age,
Chris,
Chester,
Don't feel the cold,
Listen to the music,
And just let it go...
They tried to find a reason, to go on,
Memories and emotions grew strong,
A broken heart became a lonely song,
Six strings drove a shattered heart,
They lived a life to keep the promise
To save babies they travelled oceans,
They tried to convey a loving message,
Treasuring life, was a disappearing lesson,
Chris,
Chester,
Don't feel the cold,
Listen to the music,
And just let it go...
Let the stars flicker,
It's a sign, that you're up there,
Turn up the speaker,
The lantern, gracefully in the air,
Dance between the stars,
Shed your living scars,
You were, what you were,
Depression,
Will we ever learn?
Don't feel the cold,
Just let go,
Chris,
Chester,
Just let go...

I grew up listening to linkin park, my favourite by far is " crawling" , it spoke to me, helped me, it was a comfort knowing that someone else felt how I felt and they were screaming these real emotions at me, then I feel into the black hole and got blown away by his imagery and voice, there music combined with nirvana, pearl jam, Metallica, shaped me, made me the person I am today, I'll never stop listening, I'll always return to them in times of pain and tears.
I miss Chester and Chris, I miss them more than friends and family who have died before.
Excellent poem Wayne.
Wow! What a fantastic comment! Same with me, all that music spoke to me, I just can't believe in a troubled world of today, we won't get to hear what they have to say,
thanks for comment Gerard ???????
