Don't Grieve In Black

One day when I pass away,
For no one's soul can always stay,
Don't grieve in black, or wet your eyes.
Show up like birds of paradise.
Reds and oranges, greens and blues,
Purples, pinks, and yellows, too.
Don't grieve in black, and mourn me gone,
But lift your voices up in song.
In each place I've touched your heart,
I'm living still, we'll never part.
I'll be there when you laugh and smile,
And the roads you travel, every mile.
Don't grieve in black, but fly for me.
Over land, and over sea.
Take me, safely in your heart
To the places on my maps unmarked.
Don't grieve in black, but live with me.
Don't hold me back, but set me free.

Kaylee! Â This is a wonderful write! Â I so agree with your sentiments! Â Yes, don't grieve in black but in all the colors of the rainbow and watch for me in memory and in the mystery of the sea! Â Beautiful write!

Wow Kaylee!
Just as the two ladies above me, has conveyed and strongly agreed on…..This is a wonderfully written , résumé,/ farewell, or  better yet, last requested final wishes,  placed forward by you, simply yet specifically, outlining your ultimate designs and desires, on yours and your attendees finale departure attire and colors of choice.  A Let the public view me as I am or was,(bright, witty and enthusiastic),(all colorful attributes, not as I to perceive you to be, due to my demise,( cries and sorrows,)( primarily being limited to two, very distinctively opposite, exclusive categories),(black and white). A very well planned final ovation and farewell, as you bow and lay, your finale lay....Don't mourn my death but do celebrate my new and final, destination arrival, just as I, have lived my life. Hopefully, (I thought), to have been, to Mine and life’s, fullest expectations and too have left an indelible mark, on you  where you’ll hold me dearly and at times end, (your hearts)…A wonderful epitaph to have adorned in stone granite and very well constructed …..
Very sincere and punctual,
Jim
Thank you! So much! ^_^
Good write, thanks for sharing, my applause.
