Don’t Save Me
Like 2 Pin it 1Show me the depths of your soul you’ve long forgotten
Touch my soul like only you do, let it soar with yours
Don’t want to breathe and break this beautiful moment
With you I have found something unconventionally beautiful
Something so wonderful, like an ancient power lost long ago
Every time you kiss my cheek my soul shines brighter
It’s like an unspoken promise that you won’t let go
With you I come alive like a candle being light at night
Each breath is exhilarating when you hold my hand
Together we taste the heavens, hells and all that falls in between
You try to save me from pain, even from yourself;
But baby, I’m not here to be saved…
