Poem -

Don't Sit With Me, I Stink

Oh how sweet an early shower can be
Water taking what dreams produced
Crisp for a day of work and my fee
If only to get home before stink is produced

Breakfast before the bus
Gathered are the many like me
A quick dash before the great fuss
But time makes for the plenty

Good morning sirs
Madams and all you who know
The lifestyle outside gangsters
Who attend to families that grow

No lunch again today?
Carried a bag so the kids wont know
Their attention should be books and play
Work braces for the billed foe

When Day is done
Sweat has stolen every fresh
The pride for clean is sprung
Now to face eyes like the lash

It's sad when deodorant don't last
And you have to take a seat beside
You think of kids and the task
Hold your head up or down and ride

Don't sit with me, I stink
Only when you have a seat to yourself
Alas, before you can think
A co-worker makes the ride, top shelf
