don't you know

She said I could find sadness
Anywhere
her exasperation funny
as she sat in my old chair
Stop being sad, don't see the bad,
there's beauty here, for that be glad
For life is what you make it
Don't you know...
she said
people live and people die
the sky turns dark and then turns
light,
you'll never know of colours If
you bathe yourself in night
i said
you'll never know how much i try
to live in harmony with sky
with light and love and pretty
things but strangely
all i feel are stings
the colours call, they call to me,
to witness them, they bleed you
see,
and though i try to shield my eyes
i always hear them... cry and die
and,
we are what life makes us
don't you know.

EXCELLENT POETRY LINDA
Thankyou Linda..I really appreciate you taking the time x
It's easy for others to say these sort of things. Just do this, just do that. Ignore the rain just look at the rainbow ...etc, etc, etc. If only it was as easy as that.Ā
This poem speaks a sad truth that is known only by the " sufferers."Ā As usual your writing is bang on point, the sharpest of points. Excellent work x
Your comment is beautiful Tina ...and I thank you for it and I'm so sorry for late reply I'm having problems with these emails getting through...hugs Xx
They say there is light at the end of every tunnel .. I guess we are yet to see it .. however, I now have a new favourite Marion Price poem to read and reflect upon time and time again .. Most assuredly worth the pins the stars and the likes already and yet to be awarded .. Neville x
Well apparently according to NDE's ...there actually is...I can't wait to meet it
thanks so much Nev x
You will always shine no matter what .. x
We are what decisions we make.
