DOUSE THE FLAMES

DOUSE THE FLAMES

The fire grew fierce
as the winds did blow
the trees it pierced
as sky did glow
the fires raged out of control
so many lives so many souls
they worked at a fever pitch
to douse the flames
and rescue the lost
at such a high cost.
