Poem -

Dove set free, Martin Luther King

His heart ruled his mind
- and what a beautiful mind he had, what courage he possessed
To engage an audience
Bringing them to tears
Of joy - to embrace

he was a protestor
For the quality of our race, a mindful man
( almost a soldier, without the war - yet a battle just as hard )

He paved the way
He walked the yard

For the rights of all human beings , in his heart as equal

In his mind with great strength and love
Β
He raised the Bar's
Of humanity
Setting free the dove.
