Down in the forest

In the forest
trees grow
in the forest
the wind will blow
in the forest
the lights glow
in the forest
the river will flow
in the forest
what you don’t know
sometimes it snows
the world spins slow
An arrow flies
from a crossbow
and an animal dies
and no one will mourn
In the forest
daises have thorns
in the forest
There’s a moose with no horns
in the forest
a noose hangs low
in the forest
where there’s no tomorrow
