Dreaming of sleep

As I lie awake in bed at night
Where do these thoughts come
From that stumble across my mind

When I try to rest there they also lie
Lying in wait for me to close my eye's

Why can't you just let me be
take your rightful place
And turn into dreams

I luagh to myself
I'm arguing with me

Where is that silent place
Where the others sleep

Where they forego the day
And let tommorow be what it will be

Maybe it is here I'm learning to be free
