Dreamland

Sleepless on a fluffy cloud
Feather-light floating thru the breeze
Spreading my gigantic, grandeur wings
Soaring above the tallest trees
I am a black-chested buzzard eagle
Towering high & limbering low
Scouring with my eager eyes
Foraging food sources as I go

Bobbing amidst the briney ocean
Two mermaids hold each hand
Leading me thru the salty waters
To meet their Sea king in command
I marvel at his regalness
His throne is made of pure gold
He is the leader of the Ocean
His name is Neptune so I’m told

Suddenly sinking on quick sand
I am sucking deep, down in despair
Screaming & shouting for ‘HELP’
Halleluja someone hears my prayer
A handsome prince he pulls me out
He saddles me on his white horse
Startled I wake up from my dream
I am back in my bed of course
