Dreams

Between awake and asleep

Falling into the deep

Where what is collides with what could be

Where you only have the key

In my mind is where they remain

In my mind is where they shall stay

Some are dark, frightening and hard to explain

Others are inviting, longing leaving me to think about them all day

Filling life with purpose

Forcing me to face my fears

What would I do if I could not have dreams of you?
