Poem -

BLACK AND WHITE DREAMS

The red went with my yearning heart
Sweet yellow fell with hope
The green could find no grass to hold
Or trees to shout it bold

The seas roared only black and grey
And sky rejected blue
All colour fled the landscape
Gold of sun could not shine through

The flowers budded all in black
Every feather floated white
The purples ran from mountains high
They couldn't fight the night

No shadow left to comfort me
No orange lights of home
I wake in dreams of black and white
Tis here I lonely roam.
