Poem -

Drinking The Waves

To count them
If only I had thought
To keep them all safe
From that very first nought

Every star in the sky
That twinkled for me
Every fireball of sun
How rich now I'd be

For if only I'd known
To drink deep every wave
Then from my own gloom
I might well have been saved

Being Me

This is just fabulous. The description leaves no doubt in the readers mind of the emotion this speaks of. " drink deep every wave"  Wow!!  I love that line!  Great writing, as always xx
