Drop Everything

Lazy Sunday Escapade

I extend my arms out

Here

Bathed in blue

Watched by a slice of lunar

Framed by drifting clouds

The sun still bathes these blades of green

My nostrils inhale life

Spring leaves perfume my ears with whispers of joy

At the picture's edge skaters etch memories

Tap tap scratch

Painting stories beside a dribbling fountain

Nothing is right with the world outside these lines

But within the quadrangle and the rhythms of my heart

Tranquility
