Poem -

Drown

I have drowned
Your forlorn gestures
Inside my heart
Unwrapped as gaudy
Presents of a
Wedding aghast
At its own spectacle
I have drowned
In me
The sighs of a woman
Who had clutched
Onto me for
Dear life
As I left to return
Each time with
Increasingly untidy
Embellished parcels
I have drowned
In it the sparkles
That wrapped
Enchanted eyelids
Which turned to
Wrath as my gaze
Averted to another's
Form drooping past
In the summer sun.
