Poem -

Drunk in a Storm

By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos

The thunder of the crashing waves knocks the breath out of my lungs,
The booming clap of the thunder leaves my ears ringing for hours,
The electric streaks of lightning light up the sea only to crash back into darkness,
The pitter patter of rain entrances my soul among all the ferocity of the storm,
My ship dips and dives off the crest of mighty waves,
Every breath of wind makes my ship lurch wildly,
It is like a drunken man in the wilds of the night,
Teetering and tottering on the very edge of a disaster.
