DROWING DESPAIR 
Love's joyous clasp, a mocking snare,
Replaced with crimson, drowning despair.
Unspoken woes, a boundless tide,
Where solace hides, forever denied.

Light and dark, a cruel ballet,
Secrets whispered, lost in the fray.
This destined joy, a haunting dream,
As prayers ascend, a silent scream.

Sin's grasping hand, a burning brand,
My tortured mind, a shifting sand.
In sorrow's depths, I slowly drown,
No peace to find,  no rising crown
