The Duality of the Hand

I am a fist, clenched and mighty.

Burning with passion, flung through space.

Calamity my destination, destruction my fate.

The fist to maul, the mission to protect.

Duty undeniable, born to fight.

Simpler times, wishful times. Children days.

Tragedy birthed through necessity.

I am a fighter. I am a fist.

I am the hand, silky and comforting.

Peace offered; soothing, my occupation.

Love, I give. A shield, I am.

Pity my brother, destruction he knows.

I am the mender. A guard, a lover, a healer, a builder.

Forgiveness eternal.
