D’yer Maker

Blissfully ignorant,
while questioning,
does this feel like bliss?
Ignorantly blissful,
unaware of his often, 
near miss.
Pursuing ‘persistence’ patiently,
and persevering,
while claiming to be persistent.
Inconsistently inconsistent 
and unable to be trusted, 
covered in dust and rust,
and stuff.
A diamond in the rough,
a rare gem indeed. 
Do you believe,
in your heart of hearts,
that I am, you,
We are destined to succeed?
And will one day,
Breathe with ease,
And truly be a world at peace?
