Dying Love

The days are long, and the weeks pass fast.
We both try hard to make this last
Like the summer leaves giving way to fall
You and I, we’ve tried it all
Let's say we let this rest
I fade away, all for the best
But remember me now because when spring returns
Well start from scratch with no concerns
Love is a cycle of ups and downs
Well keep on fighting as the world spins round’
Love like ours is meant to be
It is stronger than any current, from any sea
Love gets lost and feelings get mixed
But when summer comes, loves back again.
In my heart, you always will dwell
But until summer, my love
I bid you farewell
