Dystopia utopia.
Which will
it be?
Stakes
are high.
Humanity
on the
brink.
World
spinning
faster.
Faster
every day.
Wound
tighter.
Every day,
wound tighter.
Tentacles
of technology
wrapped
around the
soul.
Head bent
to the new
god hand
made.
Worshiping
at the alter
of silicon.
Mind altering
control.
Weaving
through
humanities
mind folds.
Tech worm
burrowing
deep.
Forcing
the issue.
Eyes
wide open.
Humanity
on the
brink.

I agree John... More often than not, some days it feels like a toss of a coin. It seems like at the least, what Covid has done to the world is dimmed the spotlight on some of the important values of our society. It's a crazy place out there. Stay safe my friend. Awesome poem

sophisticated technology and they’ll use it!. The few controlling the many! I’m afraid in this realm that’s how it works.
