Early August

Early August

Early August already
sunset has disappeared
Greyness blankets shady skies
cumulus clouds have slowly cleared

Alas darkness e’er drawing nigh
Autumnal feeling expanses air
Summer solstice but a memory
Chilly coolness wrath to bear

Nature showers swiftness of season
Spinning, spiralling constantly
Intertwining, interlacing
Timelessness ne’er needs no reason

Fleeting glimpsing sizzling sunshine
Masqueraded thy mournful rain
Torrential thunderous tormentful torrents
Shall ye blaze sunshine again

Hasten slowly cycle of seasons
Shrink thy speeding test of time
Mindlessness of God’s meer mortals
Regardlessness Earth’s supreme sublime
