Early Morrning Drive

4 am awakend to my wife
Helen calling my name
still sleepy struggling to
wake, On opening my eyes to see Helen sat up In bed fully awake raring to go, start
brand new day "Oh" Johnny
please take me for a ride In 
the car as tired I was, but my
reply always the same Of cause darling ok lets go, where upon I'd dress her brush her hair wrap her up warm, usualy cold
damp and misty that early In the morning, armed with a flask of tea of we'd go to find
quite place there to have a kiss and cuddle
I miss those early morning drives It's just not the same
on your own, but sometimes
when driving I still feel Helen sat beside me telling me which way to go.
