EARTH'S EMBRACE : Poem by Williamsji Maveli
A Verdant Pillar

Centered in Earth's embrace, I stand and grow,
A verdant pillar where life's currents flow.
My roots, deep tendrils in her fertile core,
Drink life's elixir, forevermore.
A crown of emerald, reaching to the sky,
I touch the heavens with a hopeful sigh.
My trunk, a steadfast column, strong and true,
A symbol of endurance, ever new.
From branches laden, gifts of nature fall,
Sweet fruits of plenty, answering life's call.
With nectar flowing, pure and crystalline,
I quench the thirsts of creatures, both divine and kin.
A sanctuary of shade, a haven of peace,
Where weary souls find solace and release.
In every leaf, a whisper of the Earth's song,
A living tapestry, where I belong.
