Poem -
Earth’s Worth ❤️
I claw and clamber in the dust, to forge and find remnants of rust
Any rich rust that shines its sheen, a morsel of mould, a hint of green?
My sieve is full of soily earth, could there be fragments here of worth?
Particles of twenty four pure carat gold, are hidden in this sand I am told
So I dig, I delve, with my bare hands, scattering the silky sands
Like a Squirrel that has cashed his stash, I sift through trash with fragmented ash
Eager excitement is my motivation, desperate in determination
Just to seek out segments of worth, my mission is to comb the earth…

Jill I'll be honest I have to get my poetry reading and reply comments arse in gear!
I'm hoping I can get back on here tomorrow night after work and we're trying to go hell for leather on house DIY getting the house ready for the Christmas visiting family clan (Mafia) and all that.
So this place and the writing have taken a real kick in the nuts lately and all that!
