EASING LOCKDOWN

Order your drinks before you get to the pub
No fans in the stadium to support your football club
Wear a mask if on public transport you go
The effects on easing lockdown are starting to show

Soon I will be in the social bubble of others 
A relief no doubt to both fathers and mothers 
Restaurants will open again for meals once more
Hairdressers too as I need a haircut for sure

The new normal will be strange at first no doubt 
All to help ease lockdown is what I'm talking about 
The road has been long and at times so very hard
Effects will leave me both bruised and scarred
