Edinburgh to Berwick

Sat waiting in the station
People watching, passing time
Thinking of these lyrics
Making sentences that rhyme

Its amazing how this ditty writing
Helps the minutes pass
I love studying strangers
Everyone is so different its class

Tall, short, thin, fat, men with beards
Woman with hats
Wondering where they are going to
Waiting on platforms, forming a queue

Everyone seems in a rush
Why don’t they just slow down
Most all looking miserable
Do they know they wear a frown?

Well only ten mins left to go
Find a seat on platform four
Glad I’m going home now
Coz my feets a little sore

Been a long day
At least the rain went away
Enjoyed it, good company
Was a blast I must say
