Poem -

Egnited flame.

Count not the minutes we've been apart
nor the hours of day
And dark

The clock it holds, yet time still proves, our love
Each second, the spark

Even the darkness seeks the fire, to light those midnight blues

Being apart was something given, for we didn't get to choose

I love you in all spaces between, the air the water the shinning sun

The stars at night the moon above, nothing divided, not our love

When meadows flood with colour, and the flowers perch to bloom

I am filled again with memories, smiling in the room

And though the nights sweet silence, sounds tears that often fall

I still listen for your voice
and wish to hear you call

For something in your voice brings comfort
I loved it when you spoke my name

I felt a burning in my heart, the only egnited flame.
