With every thought you want to absorb our attention
Only to identify with self
Remove us from others emotions, and on this you feed
Growing bigger and stronger, each detachment empowering you
Lost in emotional patterns, staving empathy until it is no longer part of us
Feeding daily, another selfie, another mediate to the mind of what surrounds us in our world.
Creating a you that you feel sure no-one understands, over feed you will make us live as a victim, a shallow existence
Nothing only you
Empty, cold and feeling only your pain
With eyes that can only see one image..You.
Ignorance befriends you, pity and anger from those around
How little you leave of us if allowed to flourish. A closed view of a world that is shut out by you
We all have this wolf within us howling to be fed, all had the thoughts that run around and around in our heads
Quieten this beast, keep a balanced view
May empathy, love and kindness always be within you.
