Eighties mall

Eighties mall

Glass mannequin
the lights glare off of her chin
she wears the latest rage
as she stares out from her cage
at all the people

Girls everywhere
long legs shadows and hair
with Italian shoes
babe you just can't lose
this must be real life

Sometimes I rise
and snake across the mall
I meet a pretty face
we find an empty space
we laugh until we fall

Glass mannequin
welcome to elevator music land
where life is rare
but the occasional stare
is more than certain
