An Electronic Sleep

Teaching on the board, foward and reverse bias,

There's an old scary devil hiding in disguise;

A look at his grave face and my eyes close instantly,

Once again a mind-numbing lecture puts me to sleep gently.

Less awake and more asleep, i have become immune-

To hearing now and then in class, that loud nokia tune;

My eyelids are heavy with the burden of the late night SMS,

Making the topic of discussion in class, knotty and hard to guess.

Suddenly, it seems my ear has achieved the property of reflection,

It's sending back the voice of the devil with so much perfection;

The colours of the black and white class are turning me insane-

But bit by bit they fade away as i fall asleep again !
